I feel super fortunate to say that I met the guy I consider to be my "one" back in high school. Everyone always talks about how high school sweethearts never work out, but I have both my twin sister AND my older sister to back me up since they both proved the haters wrong as well!
Though our story may seem picture-perfect, as with any relationship we've definitely had our share of ups and downs, during both high school and college -- and college dating comes with a whole new set of trials and speed bumps, from Tinder matches to house parties and beyond. But don't get me wrong; being taken in college can be both a positive and a negative thing.
The thing I love the most about MTV's "Are You the One?" is that it allows me to vicariously live through all of the insane, party-driven one night stands and dating follies common in college, without having to experience all of the drama myself. Trust me -- my life comes with enough of that as it is. It's definitely hard to not get invested in this show, but at the end of each episode I know that I can just turn off the TV and get back to real life.
After the first few episodes, I'm SO disappointed that my main picks didn't end up being a perfect match! They are both so edgy and cool and seemed like the perfect couple. I won't give out names because I don't want to give out any spoilers for you! You can catch up with the latest episode here for FREE! What's there not to love?
Still need some convincing before getting sucked into (yet) another addicting TV show? MTV is giving one lucky fan the chance to win a trip to Hawaii for 2! You can follow along on social media with @AreUthe1 and #AYTO, and be sure to play along by predicting the matches for each episode online while you watch. Earn points for every correct prediction you make and be entered to win -- it's that easy!
So, after viewing the trailer and the latest episode, who are you rooting for? Have you met your match? Be sure to catch up and let me know in the comments!
